(En) There are living spaces that go beyond the rigid divide between indoors
and outdoors. Enclosed and protected, they create a space that offers
warmth and intimacy, giving us comfort. Open and free, they connect us
with the world, the horizon and the beauty of nature. Their dual nature –
not to be mistaken for ambiguity – has a seductive quality that feels like
an invitation, whether for contemplation, conviviality or relaxation.
In Italian living culture – so emblematic in this regard – some of the most

Nella cultura italiana dell’abitare, emblematica sotto questo profilo,
alcuni degli spazi più evocativi sono del resto quelli che vivono e si ani-
mano in dialogo con l’esterno. Pensiamo alle verande, alle logge, ai giar-
dini d’inverno: rivolti verso il verde e il cielo, frizzanti e contemporanea-
mente cinti dal confine protettivo di una parete, questi ambienti - che
potrebbero apparire come una soglia, ma incarnano in realtà un luogo
espanso - sintetizzano e preservano il meglio della vita in outdoor, defi-
nendo un approccio che continua ad ispirare la progettualità di S•CAB.
Volgendosi invece al mondo degli interni, S•CAB amplia la propria propo-
sta con soluzioni che fanno eco alla sensibilità con cui siamo soliti arredare
i nostri luoghi di ricezione più esemplari. In particolare, S•CAB infonde la
cura di un ambiente intimo a tutti gli spazi pubblici deputati all’hospitality,
come hotel, ristoranti e locali, arricchendoli di un’attitudine informale e di
un gusto grafico che contraddistinguono la via all’arredo contemporaneo.
