Costruire il nuovo ridisegnando il classico, è l’affascinante pensiero
che si legge guardando il letto Metis. Il tratto senza tempo delle sue forme,
si accompagna al moderno concetto di flessibilità applicata alla materia.
La classica testiera trapuntata diventa modellabile con un semplice gesto
e reinventa la cornice ora aperta e grafica, ora geometrica e aerea,
ora protettiva e intima. Lo sguardo si allarga e si chiude e ogni volta si posa
su un’immagine perfetta. Eleganti piani di appoggio con la funzione
di comodino in pregiato onice, si possono riorganizzare lungo il perimetro
del sommier, assecondando diverse necessità.
Building the new by redesigning the classic is the fascinating thought
that transpires when looking at the Metis bed. The timelessness of its form
meets the modern concept of flexibility applied to materials.
The classic quilted headboard becomes malleable with a simple gesture
and reinvents the frame: open and graphic, then geometric and airy, or
protective and intimate. The gaze widens and closes and each time rests
on a perfect image. Elegant support surfaces with the function of a bedside
table in fine onyx, can be reorganized along the perimeter of the sommier,
satisfying different needs.
