From the refined elegance of porcelain
and
from
daring
experimentation
comes DOMUS, the first Ginori 1735
Home Collection.
Working with prestigious partners like
Rubelli for fabrics and Barovier&Toso for
lamps, DOMUS marks the Manifattura
Ginori’s debut in interior design.
The
four
fabrics
in
the
DOMUS
collection - Oriente Italiano, Sagitta,
Saia and Ondori - are the product of
a four-handed partnership between
Rubelli and Ginori 1735, and with Luca
Nichetto, with whom Rubelli had
already collaborated in the past.
They are all jacquards woven in the
Rubelli textile mill in Cucciago (Como).
Oriente Italiano and Ondori recall
Ginori’s
iconic
decorations,
while
Sagitta is a tribute to the creative
genius of Gio Ponti.
While the relief effect is one of the main
features, when it comes to the colours,
“Blu Ginori”, which has long been a
hallmark of the porcelain produced by
the Manifattura, is worthy of a special
mention.
All four jacquards can be used for both
upholstery and decorative purposes.
Two are fire-resistant and have Oeko-
Tex Standard 100 and Greenguard Gold
certifications; the other two make use
of a sustainable yarn: eco polyamide
made from castor oil.
The
DOMUS
collection
beautifully
merges contemporary design, fashion,
Italian know-how and quality materials.
A 100% Italian-made collection, where
the value of the product is elevated by
the artistic workmanship, highlighting
its originality.
