Ostrea
Inspired by the elegant simplicity of the sea, the Ostrea Chair, named
after the Latin word for ‘oyster’, is a testament to the creative vision
of designer Mathias De Ferm. Imagined perhaps over a meal of fresh
oysters, these chairs capture the organic contours of its marine
namesake through exceptional craftsmanship and innovative design.
Each stainless-steel tube is meticulously rolled, bent, and welded,
showcasing the high level of artistry involved.
The Ostrea ofers two cushion options: a rounded seat that leaves the
back exposed or full surface padding that mirrors the oyster’s unique
shape.
