Good for the environment: TENCEL® is produced
from eucalyptus wood procured from sustainably
managed plantations. In its production, only a
fragment of the volume of water is needed com-
pared to the production of chemical fibres.
Good for your home: the natural fibres have an
extremely smooth surface with a silky feel, are
warm like fleece wool, cool like linen and more
absorbent than cotton.
To date, natural cellulose fibres were too fine and
too short for rugs. But the TENCEL® yarn used
in these Rolf Benz rugs has a thicker diameter
and longer fibres. The advantage over synthetic
fibres: its excellent moisture absorption and
release properties ensure a balancing effect on
the room’s atmosphere, preventing the build-up of
electric charge. Available in all standard sizes and
shapes, as well as in customised dimensions, they
are guaranteed to win you over with their 9 different
brilliant and striking colours.
