The Company
Quattrobi, come 4b, come i quattro Fratelli Biffi che, assieme al padre, sono i titolari della
societá italiana di apparecchi di illuminazione.
Creata dal sig. Rino Biffi nel 1999, ma con una trentennale esperienza alle spalle, Quattrobi si
è specializzata in breve tempo nel settore del Retail, diventando il proprio core business ed
iniziando alcune importanti collaborazioni con brand importanti Nazionali ed Internazionali che
ogni anno vanno ad aumentare arricchendone il portfolio.
Ha saputo però negli ultimi anni rinnovarsi nei prodotti ed affacciarsi a nuovi mercati e a nuove
applicazioni con grande successo.
La capacitá produttiva, la produzione e sviluppo interne all’Azienda, l’utilizzo di macchine ed
attrezzature all’avanguardia garantiscono a Quattrobi quella flessibilitá oggi necessaria a poter
soddisfare le esigenze del mercato dell’illuminazione, mutate proprio nell’ultimo decennio.
La miniaturizzazione delle sorgenti luminose, l’avvento del led, la necessitá di garantire qualitá,
quantitá, dissipazione. Tutti aspetti che si affrontano nel quotidiano, con il bagaglio acquisito
negli anni avendo seguito ‘in presa diretta’ l’evoluzione tecnologica delle sorgenti luminose.
Oggi customizzazione e prodotti speciali sono le due parole chiave di Quattrobi per investire
non solo sul mercato consolidato del Retail, ma anche sul nuovo mercato dell’ Hospitality &
Residential.
Customizzazione intesa come modifica della produzione standard nella forma, nelle
caratteristiche tecniche e sopratutto nelle finiture. Ai noti e classici trattamenti di
anodizzazione, galvanica e verniciatura a polvere si sono affiancate oggi la verniciatura a
liquido, con effetti materici e soft touch, l’acidatura, e la metallizzazione con riporto dii metallo
sulle superfici dell’apparecchio.
Prodotti speciali intesi come sviluppo, prototipazione e produzione di nuovi prodotti su
disegno specificatamente realizzati per le esigenze del Cliente Finale o dell’Architetto.
Ferro, acciaio, alluminio, policarbonato le basi su cui lavorare: tornire, fresare, saldare, piegare,
tagliare, incidere, per creare un vestito attorno alla sorgente di illuminazione. Un lavoro che si
fonda sulla storia e l’esperienza della Famiglia Biffi. I Quattrobi
Quattrobi, as 4b, as the four Biffi brothers who, together with their father, own the Italian
lighting devices company.
Quattrobi has been founded by Mr. Rino Biffi in 1999, who at the time had already thirty years
of experience in the field. It specialized soon in retail which became its core business, starting
also important partnerships with national and international brands, that are increasing from
year to year enriching its portfolio.
In these last years Quattrobi has been able to renew its products and to step into new markets
and new applications with great success. Flexibility, which nowadays is the key to satisfy
lighting market, that in the last ten years has widely changed, is guaranteed by Quattrobi by
interior production, development and production capacity, and by the use of cutting–edge
technology.
The miniaturization of light sources, the arrival of led, the need to guarantee quality, power and
heat dissipation are daily issues that are solved thanks to the achieved “know how”. A baggage
built in years through direct experiences while technological development of light sources was
taking place.
Today, customization and special products are the two Quattrobi’s key words to invest not only
on regular retail market, but also on Hospitality & Residential new market.
Customization meant as changing the standard production in terms of shape, technical
characteristics and especially in finishing. Liquid painting with material and soft touch effects,
etching, metallization with deposition of metal on the surface of the device together with
the traditional and well-known anodizing, electroplating and powder coating treatments are
available.
Special products meant as development, prototyping and production of new devices on
specifically made drawings to meet the final client’s or the architect’s needs.
Iron, steel, aluminum and polycarbonate are the basis upon which to work: turning, milling,
welding, bending, cutting, engraving to create a dress around the light source. A work that is
