EXTREME
With its high-tech design, essential from the viewpoint of
structure and unobtrusive from the viewpoint of
appearance, the Extreme family includes different
installation solutions which provide shape continuity for
the luminaires used in the same environment and high
level performance. Recessed luminaires can be
unobtrusively mounted into false-ceilings, as the only
part which is still visible is a thin profile for flush edge
versions or a small-sized frame.
Ceiling-mounted types have a special rectangular or
square box – white or grey – and can be used as high-bay
luminaires thanks to the special kit. The track-mounting
type is the ideal solution for installation in large areas
requiring accent lighting.
Its main feature is the hook system to attach light
sources, using a proper telescopic bracket. This ends with
a die-cast ring, which accommodates the lamp, which is
secured by a spring on the front side. This way the lamps
of the luminaire housing can be taken out and the light
beam can be adjusted (with about 340° rotation and
vertical inclination), as needed.
Technical specifications
The recessed system is fully made of epoxy polyester
coated sheet. Also the bracket connected the light
sources is in steel sheet. Extreme can be configured in
solutions requiring one to four lamps in line or forming
a square. These configurations are provided also for
ceiling mounting types, complete with electronic
ballast. With a special kit including supporting steel
cables and power supply cable with ceiling rose, the
ceiling light fixtures can be used also as a high-bay
system.
The track mounting solution has the same hook system
as the recessed luminaire.
Two versions are recessed with mixed light (fluorescent
plus halogen) and one version has fluorescent light that
can be used also as emergency light.
