Shuttle
Il design prende ispirazione dallo storico sistema NASA denominato Space Shuttle. Al
diffusore conico in vetro soffiato che protegge la struttura metallica e la sorgente LED
si aggiungono numerosi dettagli che possono essere scoperti pagina dopo pagina, ad
esempio il led a 6.3W (uno dei più alti nel mercato dei portatili), l’anello in ottone che
circonda la base, il facile meccanismo per la rimozione del diffusore in vetro, la possibilità di
cambiare la temperatura della luce, da calda a fredda con un tocco, il sensore touch dimm
per regolare l’intensità della luce, il caricabatterie wireless...
La missione di questa collezione include l’idea di un design che duri 30 anni proprio
come la vita dello Space Shuttle. Un sistema di materiali riutilizzabili, come il vetro soffiato
facilmente rimovibile, batterie ricaricabili e componenti della struttura in metallo, si sposa con
l’approccio progettuale di uno stile contemporaneo che dura negli anni.
The design takes inspiration from the historic NASA system called the Space Shuttle. To
the conical blown glass diffuser that protects the metal structure and the LED source are
added numerous details that can be discovered page after page, for example the 6.3W LED
(one of the highest in the portable market), the brass ring surrounding the base, the easy
mechanism for removing the glass diffuser, the ability to change the temperature of the light,
from hot to cold with a touch, the touch dimm sensor to adjust the intensity of the light, the
wireless charger...
The mission of this collection includes the idea of a design that lasts 30 years just like the life
of the Space Shuttle. A system of reusable materials, such as easily removable blown glass,
rechargeable batteries and metal
structure components, combines
with the design approach of a
contemporary style that lasts
over the years.
