Johann Sutter is known for his as-
sociation with the California Gold
Rush by the discovery of gold by
James W. Marshall and the mill
making team at Sutter’s Mill. The
California Gold Rush was a peri-
od of time in the late 1800s when
gold was discovered in California.
Although gold brought him briefly
wealth and fame, his business prac-
tices led to ruin. Such phenomenal
discovery inspired us to create the
Sutter modern console, featuring
polished stainless steel with gun-
metal finish structure.
