The top, made of selected
slats of natural, black-stained
or dark brown-stained solid
chestnut, is characterized
by the special design
of its tapered edge,
that makes the very thick
top look extremely light.
An additional bevel all
around the border smooths
out the edges by creating
a small sphere on the four
corners.
