The Lievore Altherr Molina studio has designed the versatile Louise chair and armchair. Clean and measured in terms of their design, both seats are an elegant addition to the living room or study, but are also perfectly at home in offices and public spaces.
The structure, in wenge-stained or walnut stained ash wood, becomes progressively thinner, and the legs are tapered. A study in subtraction that enhances the shell, covered in Pelle Frau® leather. The Poltrona Frau craftsmen have produced an elaborate double horizontal stitching effect right around the front and the back of the backrest at irregular heights. From a distance, this creates a movement of graphical lines that give the chair and the armchair an informal feel. Up close, you can see the precision of the double stitching on the leather, which embellishes the Louise seats in an understated way.
The upholstery of the backrest is unfussy and taut, but becomes richer and softer on the seat, which is comfortable and enveloping thanks to the polyurethane foam padding and the elastic belt springs.
