The frame is in seasoned beech-wood and supports the springing structure, giving shape and consistency to the padding and ensuring optimal hold and exceptional comfort. The seat, backrest and armrest springing is created with eight-way steel springs, tied by hand and supported on jute webbing. The padding in the seat and backrest is in rubberised horsehair, which improves the hold. The armrests are padded in vegetable horsehair modelled by hand and the seat cushion is made with goose down.
