cabinet is the result of a collaboration
between Poltrona Frau and Fornasetti,
another brand renowned worldwide for
the design and decoration of unique
and timeless furnishing accessories.
This wooden trunk embodies the high
craftsmanship and Italian creativity
shared by both Fornasetti and Poltrona
Frau. It is crafted from wood and
covered in printed leather featuring
one of the most iconic patterns from
the Fornasetti archive—the "Ultime
Notizie" decoration. Originally
created in 1950 by Piero Fornasetti,
the pattern was later reimagined by
his son Barnaba, who refreshed and
reinterpreted it.
