The Leplì collection by Kensaku
Oshiro expands with a chair and a
small armchair. Drawing inspiration
from the female silhouette, the curves
are nipped in with a slim belt to
accentuate the ‘waist’, whilst classic
piped or top-stitched seams and
soufflé-soft pin-tucks enhance the
curvy simplicity of the chair design.
The soft playful lines of this collection
hug a bold barrel-shaped monobloc
base which tapers at the point
where it meets the upper seat, and
is accentuated with a decorative
leather band. This gently-rounded and
compact tub chair is finely-tuned in the
elegant proportions, details and colour
combinations.
Both the Leplì armchair and chair can
be upholstered entirely in Pelle Frau®
leather or in fabric with the decorative
band in leather. For an even more
sophisticated option, the seat and the
interior of the backrest can be in fabric
with the exterior upholstered in leather.
Enhancing its contemporary appeal,
the base is equipped with features
designed for effortless mobility. Both
the chair and the small armchair
models are available in three versions:
with a fixed base, with discreetly
integrated castors positioned just a few
millimetres from the ground, or with
a swivel return mechanism ("torna")
that allows a 360° rotation and
automatically returns to the original
position when the user stands up.
