The Parka modular seating
system, designed by the duo
Draga & Aurel, expands its
configuration possibilities with
the introduction of new modules
and an ottoman.
Parka pays tribute to an iconic garment
of 1990s streetwear—a staple of
American grunge culture that went
on to become a symbol for an entire
generation. Much like the legendary
jacket, Parka is a versatile, all-purpose
sofa, easy to pair with different styles
while retaining a strong, distinctive
personality. Its soft lines and generous,
ground-hugging volumes promise
comfort and relaxation. The unique
elliptical shape of the backrest, which
seamlessly slopes down to become the
armrest and seat, creates a concave yet
bold and welcoming space, effortlessly
adapting to various interior styles.
The Parka sofa can be fully upholstered
in Pelle Frau® leather, available in
the full range of catalogue options, or
in a leather and fabric combination.
In the latter case, the leather covers
the external structure, while fabric
is applied to the seat, backrest, and
armrest. Stitching is tone-on-tone,
adding a refined finishing touch.
