e protegge senza chiudersi in se stesso.
La poltrona Martha, disegnata da
Roberto Lazzeroni per Poltrona Frau,
riesce a coniugare comfort
e leggerezza. Forme morbide e materiali
preziosi a contrasto per un’eleganza
ariosa, rilassata. Martha poltrona
a dondolo ne è la sua versione più ludica
e scanzonata: una base basculante
in massello di frassino, piccola opera
di ebanisteria, crea un dondolo comodo
e divertente.
Il design della poltrona Martha nasce
dall’incontro dei due elementi principali
della scocca, entrambi in poliuretano
rigido ottenuto da stampo. Seduta
e braccioli fanno parte di un’unica linea
sinuosa, aperta, con le due estremità
protese verso l’esterno. Lo schienale
curvo e leggermente imbottito sembra
fl uttuare nell’aria, in realtà è fi ssato
al guscio con un sistema a scomparsa.
Un cavalletto in legno a sezione
triangolare sostiene il tutto. Una leggera
inclinazione della seduta verso il dorso
favorisce un comfort ottimale e accentua
il design dinamico della poltroncina.
La base a quattro gambe è realizzata
in massello di frassino, disponibile
nelle fi niture Wengé e Moka. Anche

su una base in massello di frassino

réussit à conjuguer confort et légèreté.
Des formes moelleuses et des matières
précieuses en contraste pour une
élégance aérienne, relaxée. Le fauteuil
à bascule Martha en est sa version
plus ludique et désinvolte : une base à
bascule en frêne massif courbe, petite
œuvre d’ébénisterie, créé une bascule
confortable et divertissante.
Le design du fauteuil Martha naît de la
rencontre des deux éléments principaux
de la coque, tous deux en mousse de
polyuréthane obtenu par moulage.
L’assise et les accoudoirs font partie
d’une ligne unique et sinueuse, ouverte,
dont les deux extrémités sont tendues
vers l’extérieur. Le dossier courbe et
légèrement rembourré semble fl otter
dans l’air, il est en réalité fi xé à la
carapace avec un système escamotable.
Un chevalet en bois à section
triangulaire soutient le tout.
Une légère inclinaison de l’assise vers
le dos favorise un confort optimal
et accentue le design dynamique du
fauteuil. La base à quatre pieds est
fabriquée en frêne massif, disponible
dans les fi nitions Wengé et Moka.
Le fauteuil à bascule Martha repose
aussi sur une base courbe en frêne
massif dans les mêmes fi nitions.

The Martha armchair, designed

Frau, manages to combine comfort and
lightness. Soft forms and fi ne materials
for an airy, relaxed elegance. The Martha
rocking chair is its most playful and
informal version: the rocking base
in solid ash, an authentic masterpiece
of wood craftsmanship, creates a
comfortable and fun rocking chair.
The design of the Martha armchair
is based on the meeting of the two
main elements of the frame, both in
moulded rigid polyurethane. The seat
and armrests form part of a single
sinuous open profi le, the two extremities
projecting towards the exterior.
The curved and slightly padded backrest
appears to fl oat in the air but is actually
fi xed to the frame with a hidden system.
The entire product is supported
by a triangular-section wooden easel
structure. The seat’s slight incline
towards the back ensures optimal
comfort and emphasises the armchair’s
dynamic design. The four-legged base
is made from solid ash available with
a wenge or moka fi nish.
The Martha rocking chair is also
supported by a curved solid ash base
in the same fi nishes.
Eine Schale, beinahe ein Blütenblatt,
die aufnimmt und schützt, ohne sich in
sich selbst zu verschließen. Dem Sessel
Martha, der von Roberto Lazzeroni
für Poltrona Frau designt wurde,
gelingt das schwierige Unterfangen,
Komfort mit Leichtigkeit zu verbinden.
Der Schaukelstuhl Martha ist eine
verspieltere und unbeschwertere
Version davon mit einem Kippgestell
aus Massivesche, ein Meisterstück der
Tischlerkunst, die den Sessel in einen
bequemen und spritzigen Schaukelstuhl
verwandelt.
Das Design des Sessels Martha
entsteht aus der Begegnung der zwei
Hauptelemente des Aufbaus, die beide
aus gegossenem Hartschaum gefertigt
sind. Sitzfl äche und Armlehnen sind
Teil einer einzigen geschwungenen,
off enen Linie, deren zwei Enden sich
nach außen strecken. Die gebogene,
leicht gepolsterte Rückenlehne scheint
in der Luft zu schweben; in Wirklichkeit
ist sie mit einem einziehbaren System an
der Schale befestigt. Als Stütze dient
ein Gestell aus Holz mit dreieckigem
Querschnitt. Die leichte Neigung der
Sitzfl äche in Richtung Rücken bietet
optimalen Komfort und betont das
dynamische Design des Sessels.
Die vierfüßige Basis ist aus Massivesche
mit wenge- oder mokkafarbenem Finish.
Auch beim Schaukelstuhl Martha dient
als Stütze ein Gestell
aus gebogener Massivesche in den
gleichen Ausführungen.
