Poltrona Frau
The building stands at the continental crossroads,
centered over the river; its hemicycle holds 750
seats and 29 meeting rooms for a total capacity
of 2,690 people. Poltrona Frau’s Custom Interiors
Division was given the challenge of furnishing
all these spaces, a commission that took three
years of work by a dedicated team of specialized
professionals.
At the time, Monsieur Pol was a daring, avant-garde
design distinguished by a set of polyhedral surfaces,
almost like a multifaceted diamond. For AS.
Architecture Studio, Monsieur Pol is a “functional
and seductive mix, a hybrid between an office
seat and a club armchair.”
