Poltrona Frau
MAXXI
In summer 2020, during their closing period,
which lasted a little more than a month due to
the pandemic, Poltrona Frau was called for a
challenging mission: renovate the entire seating
of the Auditorium of MAXXI, the National
Museum of 21st Century Arts of Rome. A
turnkey project, where in addition to the new
seating, Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors took
care of all the dismounting and new installation
of the 216 Kube seats, designed in cooperation
with studio EOOS. Kube seats are specifically
created for auditoriums. They have a peculiar
suspended shape.
