Poltrona Frau
To stay under the maximum weight allowed - 30kg –
Poltrona Frau engineers decided to use steel for the
legs and aluminum for the back and seat structure; but
also, to remove the steel counterweight usually used
for the folding system, therefore they created a new
mechanism with torsion springs for the automatic seat
return, and a folding armrest.
However, the amazing result is not only a highly
technological project, but an extremely comfortable
and welcoming seat, underlining Poltrona Frau’s
signature in the seating industry.
