Una superficie soffice, calda e corposa.
Un morbido prolungamento del letto
o della seduta su cui stendersi,
accoccolarsi, giocare, rilassarsi, leggere,
camminare a piedi nudi. I tappeti Pecan
nascono dallo studio approfondito delle
lavorazioni tricot e vengono realizzati
con una tecnica esclusiva.
Il filato di lana viene avvolto interamente
attorno a un’anima di juta, che compone
la struttura. Il tappeto in questo
modo non ha un fronte e un retro
distinti, ma può essere utilizzato su
entrambi i lati con un effetto ancora
più soffice e confortevole. La juta,
corposa e resistente, dà robustezza e
movimento. Il risultato è un’elegante
maglia tridimensionale che al tatto
ricorda, pur essendo morbidissima, una
terra cosparsa di gusci di noce. Da qui
il nome Pecan. Il tappeto diventa la
cornice tessile ideale per uno spazio
living accogliente e informale o per una
zona notte dall’atmosfera avvolgente
e rilassante. La superficie di Pecan è
rifinita sui due lati corti da due bordi di
40 mm, in tessuto a struttura panama
con filo nella stessa tonalità del tappeto
alternato a filo a contrasto.
A soft, warm and compact surface. A
gentle extension of the bed or seat on
which to stretch out, curl up, play, relax,
read, or walk barefooted. Pecan rugs
have emerged from an in-depth study
into tricot workings and are made using
an exclusive technique.
The wool yarn is wrapped all the way
around a jute core, which composes the
structure.
This way the rug has no distinct front
or back, but can be used on both
sides with an even softer and more
comfortable effect. Full-bodied and
strong, jute bestows robustness and
movement. The result is an elegant
three-dimensional knit whose feel –
although super soft – recalls earth
strewn with walnut shells. That’s where
the name Pecan comes from. The rug
becomes the ideal fabric “frame” for a
welcoming and informal living area or
for a bedroom with a cosy and relaxing
atmosphere. Pecan’s surface is finished
on the two short sides with two 40-mm
edges in Panama weave that alternates
the rug’s same thread colour and
contrasting thread.

s’étendre, se blottir, jouer, se détendre,
lire, marcher pieds nus.
Les tapis Pecan sont nés de l’étude
approfondie des tricots et ils sont
réalisés selon une technique exclusive.
On enroule entièrement le fil de laine
autour d’une âme en jute qui compose
la structure. De cette façon le tapis
n’a pas de devant ni d’envers distincts,
mais peut être utilisé des deux côtés,
pour un effet encore plus moelleux
et confortable. Le jute, riche et
résistant, donne du mouvement et de
la robustesse. Le résultat est un tricot
tridimensionnel élégant, qui rappelle au
toucher, malgré son extrême douceur,
une terre parsemée de coquilles de noix.
D’où son nom: Pecan. Ce tapis devient
le cadre textile idéal pour une salle de
séjour accueillante et décontractée
ou pour une zone nuit chaleureuse et
relaxante. Sur les deux côtés courts,
la surface de Pecan est finie par deux
bords de 40 mm, en tissu panama, avec
un fil du même ton que celui du tapis
alterné à un fil en contraste.

Die Pecan Teppiche gehen aus einer
eingehenden Analyse von Strickarbeiten
hervor und werden mit einer
einzigartigen Technik hergestellt. Der
Wollfaden wird vollständig um einen Kern
aus Jute gewickelt, der die Struktur
bildet. Der Teppich hat auf diese Weise
keine eindeutige Vorder- und Rückseite,
sondern kann beidseitig mit einem
noch weicheren und angenehmeren
Effekt genutzt werden. Die voluminöse
und widerstandsfähige Jute verleiht
Robustheit und Bewegung. Das Ergebnis
ist ein elegantes dreidimensionales Netz,
das - obwohl es extra-weich ist - im
Griff an einen Boden voller Nussschalen
erinnert. Daher der Name Pecan. Der
Teppich wird der ideale textile Rahmen
für einen einladenden und informellen
Lebensraum oder einen Schlafbereich
mit einhüllender und entspannender
Atmosphäre. Die Oberfläche von Pecan
wird an den beiden kurzen Seiten
von zwei Einfassungen mit 40 mm aus
Stoff mit Panamastruktur im gleichen
Farbton des Teppichs abwechselnd mit
kontrastfarbenem Faden veredelt.
