progetta la nuova versione di Jane,
iconico tavolo presentato da Poltrona
Frau nel 2017, con il top circolare Lazy
Susan.
Il generoso piano rotondo in marmo
riprende la forza visiva del tavolo Jane
e si distingue in due aree. Il cuore
centrale girevole invita alla condivisione
del cibo. La parte esterna si compone
di quattro sezioni radiali estraibili, per
facilitare manutenzione e pulizia.
La presenza scultorea di Jane viene
esaltata dalla bellezza preziosa del
piano in marmo Calacatta Oro, Emperador
o Fior di Pesco. Effetto materico anche
per le quattro colonne che supportano
il piano: imponenti e essenziali, sono
realizzate con un’anima in legno
massello di faggio racchiusa da pannelli
in MDF ad alta densità e sagomate e
impiallacciate in frassino tinto moka.
L’ingegnoso raccordo in acciaio fra
piano e sostegni esalta la sensazione
che il top galleggi aereo nello spazio.
Jean-Marie Massaud was inspired by the
sharing friendly culture of the East with
this design with a circular Lazy Susan top
for the new version of Jane, the iconic
table presented by Poltrona Frau in 2017.
The generous round marble top replicates
the visual strength of the original Jane
table, with two different aspects. The
centre can be rotated, inviting diners
to share food, and the outer part is
composed of four extractable radial
sections, simplifying maintenance and
cleaning.
The precious beauty of Calacatta gold,
Emperador or Fior di Pesco marble top,
enhances Jane’s sculptural presence.
The four columns supporting the top also
create a material effect: imposing and
essential, they have a solid beech wood
core surrounded by high-density MDF
panels, which are shaped and veneered
in moka-stained ash. The ingenious
steel junction between the legs and the
top makes the top appear as if it were
floating in space.

Le grand plateau rond en marbre reprend
la puissance visuelle de la table Jane et
se distingue à deux endroits. Le cœur
central pivotant invite au partage de la
nourriture. La partie externe se compose
de quatre sections radiales extractibles,
pour faciliter l’entretien et le nettoyage.
La présence sculpturale de Jane est
mise en valeur par la beauté précieuse
du plateau en marbre Calacatta Or,
Emperador, ou Fleur de Pêcher. Les
quatre colonnes qui supportent le
plateau créent eux aussi un effet
texturisé: imposantes et essentielles,
elles sont fabriquées avec un cœur en
hêtre massif entouré de panneaux en
MDF à haute densité, et façonnées et
plaquées frêne teinté moka. L’ingénieux
raccord en acier entre les soutiens et
le plateau accroît la sensation que le
plateau flotte dans l’espace.

Die großzügige runde Tischplatte aus
Marmor nimmt die visuelle Kraft des
Tisches Jane auf und unterteilt sich in
zwei Bereiche. Das zentrale, drehbare
Herzstück lädt zum Teilen der Speisen
ein. Der äußere Teil setzt sich aus vier
radialen Abschnitten zusammen, die
abnehmbar sind, um die Wartung und
Reinigung zu vereinfachen.
Die skulpturenhafte Präsenz von Jane
wird durch die kostbare Schönheit
der Tischplatte aus Marmor betont:
Calacatta Oro, Emperador oder Fior di
Pesco.Materische Wirkung erzeugen

tragen: Sie sind imposant und essentiell,
