Un blocco di marmo unico al mondo,
un capolavoro della natura. Un pezzo
unico. Poltrona Frau lo scopre e
chiede al designer Roberto Lazzeroni
di progettare un oggetto di grande
personalità che possa valorizzarlo.
Ispirato dalla bellezza e dalla unicità
del materiale, il designer crea così
“Infinito”, un tavolo-scultura di assoluto
impatto scenico. Più opera d’arte che
oggetto di design, il tavolo Infinito non
è replicabile ed è prodotto in una serie
limitatissima di esemplari, numerati e
firmati. Con questo tavolo-object d’art,
che non ha eguali nella sua stessa
produzione, Poltrona Frau vuole ribadire
il senso del vero lusso contemporaneo.
Che non può prescindere dalla qualità
assoluta dei materiali, da un pensiero
progettuale profondo e da una perizia
artigianale e produttiva senza rivali.
Solo così si ottiene un prodotto davvero
esclusivo. Un’opera d’arte da ammirare,
vivere e apprezzare ogni giorno,
all’Infinito.
Tutto parte da una cava in Turchia dove
si estrae il pregiato marmo “Rosso
Lepanto”, per sua natura caratterizzato
da toni che vanno dal rosso al viola, e
impreziosito da striature bianche. Per
qualche sconosciuto e inspiegabile
evento naturale, una sezione piccola
e limitata di montagna ha virato in
una profonda colorazione salvia
con sfumature di verde più scuro,
attraversata dalle tipiche venature
chiare e con alcune piccole inclusioni
rossastre del colore originario. Roberto
Lazzeroni ne ricava un piano ampio dalle
linee arrotondate, che esalta la bellezza
del verde screziato in tutte le sue
sfumature più accese o velate.

Poltrona Frau discovered it and asked
designer Roberto Lazzeroni to design
an object of great character to further
increase its value. Inspired by the
beauty and uniqueness of the material,
the designer created “Infinito”, a table-
sculpture with an amazing scenic impact.
More a work of art than a design object,
the table Infinito cannot be replicated
and has been produced in a limited,
numbered and signed amount.
With this table-object d’art that has
no equals even in its own production,
Poltrona Frau seeks to reiterate the
real meaning of contemporary luxury: a
luxury that can only come from materials
of absolute quality, from profound
design and from unrivalled handicraft
and productive skill. This is the only

It all started at a quarry in Turkey
where the precious “Rosso Lepanto”
marble was extracted,characterised by
tones ranging from red to violet, and
embellished with white streaks. Thanks
to some unknown and inexplicable
natural event, a small, confined section
of mountain took on a deep sage tone
with shades of darker green, crossed
by the typical clear veining and some
small reddish inclusions of the original
colour. Roberto Lazzeroni designed a
large top with rounded lines that exalts
the beauty of the veined green in all its
brighter or more subtle nuances.

demande au designer Roberto Lazzeroni
de concevoir un objet impressionnant
qui puisse le valoriser. Inspiré par la
beauté et par le caractère unique de
la matière, le designer a créé « Infinito
», une table-sculpture à la présence
scénique absolue. Plus œuvre d’art
qu’objet de design, la table Infinito ne
peut être reproduite, elle est produite
dans une série aux exemplaires limités,
numérotés et signés. Avec cette
table-objet d’art, sans égal dans sa
production, Poltrona Frau veut réaffirmer
avec force le sens du véritable luxe
contemporain. Il n’est pas possible
de faire abstraction de la qualité
absolue des matières, de la réflexion
profonde concernant la conception
ainsi que d’une expertise artisanale
et de production incomparable. C’est
seulement ainsi qu’on obtient un produit
vraiment exclusif. Une œuvre d’art à

Tout commence dans une carrière en
Turquie, où l’on extrait le précieux
« Rosso Lepanto », pour sa nature,
caractérisée par des tons qui vont du
rouge au violet, traversé par des rayures
blanches. Grâce à un événement naturel
inconnu et inexplicable, une petite
partie limitée de la montagne a viré dans
une coloration sauge profonde avec des
nuances de vert plus foncé, traversée
par des rayures claires typiques et avec
quelques petites inclusions rougeâtres
de la couleur d’origine. Roberto
Lazzeroni en tire un vaste plateau aux
lignes arrondies, qui exalte la beauté du
vert marbré dans toutes ses nuances
plus vives ou voilées.

auf der Welt gibt, ein Meisterwerk
der Natur. Ein Einzelstück. Poltrona
Frau entdeckt ihn und bittet Designer
Roberto Lazzeroni, ein Objekt mit einer
starken Persönlichkeit zu entwerfen,
die ihn aufwerten kann. Inspiriert durch
die Schönheit und Einzigartigkeit des
Materials schafft der Designer auf
diese Weise „Infinito“ (zu Deutsch:
Unendlich), einen skulpturenhaften
Tisch mit absoluter Bühnenreife. Eher
Kunstwerk als Designobjekt. Der Tisch
Infinito ist nicht replizierbar und wird
in einer besonders limitierten Auflage
hergestellt. Alle Exemplare sind
nummeriert und handsigniert.
Mit diesem Tisch-Kunstwerk, das
praktisch in Unikaten gefertigt wird,
möchte Poltrona Frau den Sinn des
echten zeitgemäßen Luxus noch
einmal mit Nachdruck betonen. Er
kann nicht von der absoluten Qualität
der Materialien, von einem profunden
Projektgedanken, der originell ist,
gleichzeitig jedoch das Rohmaterial
respektiert und auch nicht von einem
handwerklichen und produktiven
Geschick absehen, das seinesgleichen
sucht. Nur auf diese Weise erhält man
ein wirklich exklusives Produkt. Ein
Meisterwerk zum Bewundern, zum Leben,
das man jeden Tag bis ins Unendliche
schätzt.
Alles beginnt in einem Steinbruch in
der Türkei, wo der kostbare „Rosso
Lepanto” Marmor abgebaut wird. Er
ist durch Farbtöne gekennzeichnet,
die von Rot bis Violett reichen, und
wird durch weiße Streifen bereichert.
Durch irgendein unbekanntes und
unerklärliches Naturereignis drehte ein
kleiner und begrenzter Bergabschnitt
in eine intensive salbeigrüne Färbung
mit dunkleren Grünnuancen ab, die
mit den typischen hellen Maserungen
durchzogen ist und einige kleine rötliche
Einschlüsse der ursprünglichen Farbe
aufweist. Roberto Lazzeroni kreiert
daraus eine große Tischplatte mit
abgerundeten Linien, die die Schönheit
des marmorierten Grün in all ihren
Nuancen, von den leuchtenden bis zu
den verschwommenen, betont.
