The distinctive veining of the marble—
available in various finishes—makes
each piece truly unique, enhancing
the table’s pure, essential lines.The
Mesa collection is the brainchild of
two iconic names in design: Lella
and Massimo Vignelli. Starting from
their original drawings, Poltrona
Frau undertook a meticulous, almost
philological project, creating previously
unseen versions of the original table,
aptly named Mesa Due. Due as in
the two simple geometric shapes—a
circle and a cone—juxtaposed to
form a single-leg marble table with
striking personality and bold graphic
presence. The Mesa Ellipse represents
an exclusive, further evolution of this
design vision.
