コンセプト
書棚「Ren」がネリ＆フーによってデザインされた同
名のコレクションに新たに追加されました。コレクシ
ョンの他の製品と同様、
「人間」や「人類」を意味する
中国の漢字「Ren」
（人）に着想を得た輪郭がテーマ
になっています。線が交差するデザインが、親密なエ
レガンスを伝達しています。独創的
なサスペンションシステム、絶妙なバ
ランス、東洋における空間とデザイ
ンのコンセプトを彷彿させるシンプ
ルな結合部から成る軽快でコンパク
トな構造が、Poltrona Frauの伝統の
代名詞である高級素材と卓越したク
ラフトマンシップを駆使して実現さ
れました。
書棚「Ren」のやや傾斜した両側の支
柱が化粧張りされたカバ積層板の棚
板を支えています。棚板の両端は黒
クルミ製でなめし革Saddle
Extraで
コーティングされています。ナチュラ
ルブラス仕上げの金属製固定フック
を使って上部の横木を壁に固定しま
す。書棚には背が低いバージョンと
高いバージョンはあります。低いバー
ジョンでは小物用のなめし革張り円
形トレーが横木から吊り下げられて
います。2つのバージョンでは高さ、幅、棚板
数が異なります。どちらのバージョンでもナ
チュラルブラス仕上げブラッシュスチール製
のブックエンドを追加することが出来ます。
CONCEPT
La libreria Ren arricchisce la collezione omoni-
ma disegnata da Neri & Hu. Fil rouge continua
ad essere il segno ispirato all'ideogramma
cinese “ren”, che significa “persona”, “esse-
re umano”. È un intrecciarsi grafico di linee
che comunica un’intima eleganza. Sono
piccole, leggere architetture, fatte di
geniali sospensioni, giochi di contrap-
pesi, semplici incastri che richiamano
una concezione orientale degli spazi
e del design, e vengono realizzati con
materiali preziosi e tecniche artigiana-
li che appartengono indissolubilmente
alla tradizione di Poltrona Frau.
Nella libreria Ren i due montanti late-
rali, leggermente inclinati, sorreggono
i piani degli scaffali in multistrato di
betulla impiallacciati sui fianchi in noce
Canaletto e rivestiti in cuoio Saddle
Extra. La traversa superiore si fissa
al muro tramite ganci di ancoraggio
in metallo con finitura ottone natu-
rale. La libreria viene proposta nella
versione bassa, con vaschetta tonda
portaoggetti rivestita in cuoio sospesa
alla traversa superiore, e nella versione
alta. Si differenziano per l’altezza, la
larghezza e il numero di ripiani. Entram-
be le varianti possono essere comple-
tate dai fermalibri in acciaio spazzolato
con finitura ottone naturale.
CONCEPT
The Ren bookcase enriches the collection of
the same name designed by Neri & Hu. The
underlying theme continues to be the Chinese
“ren” symbol. A graphical weave of lines that
exudes intimate elegance. Small, light archi-
tectures made up of ingenious suspensions,
clever balances, simple interconnections
inspired by an oriental concept of spaces
and design. And they are produced using fine
materials and artisan techniques inextricably
linked with the Poltrona Frau tradition.
The Ren bookcase is a graphical weave of li-
nes. The two lateral uprights, slightly inclined,
support the birch plywood shelves, upholste-
red in saddle-leather with a Canaletto walnut
veneer on the sides. The upper crosspiece
is fixed to the wall using metal hooks with a
natural brass finish. The bookcase comes in
a low version with a round multi-purpose tray
upholstered in saddle-leather hanging from
the upper crosspiece, and in a tall version.
They differ from each other in terms of height,
width and number of shelves. Both variants
can be completed with bookends in brushed
steel with a natural brass finish.
理念
Ren书柜为Neri & Hu设计的同名系列增添新
成员。以中文“人”字为灵感源泉的符号依然
是贯穿本设计的红线。图形线条交织，传达最
深层次的典雅。小巧轻盈的结构，以绝妙的悬
挂系统、配重组合、简单的嵌套构成，呼应东
方特色的空间和设计理念，并使用与Poltrona
Frau传统不可分割的珍贵材料和手工技艺。
Ren书柜是图形线条的交织。两个侧支柱略微
倾斜，支撑桦木胶合板支撑的书架表面，覆盖
皮革，侧面镶贴黑核桃木。上横撑通过采用天
然黄铜表面处理的金属挂钩固定在墙上。矮版
书柜配有圆形置物篮，覆盖皮革，悬挂在上横
撑上，高版中也采用了这种配置。区别在于高
度、宽度和隔层数。两个版本都配有镀有天然
黄铜表面处理的拉丝钢质书挡。
