preziose di Chester sono tutti presenti,
qui riproposti in forma più leggera,
alla ricerca di un’eleganza informale
raggiunta per sottrazione: lo storico
capitonné si mantiene sullo schienale
mentre scompare dalla base del divano;
i piedi metallici sono quasi invisibili per
lasciare in primo piano la bellezza della
seduta; nel divano a due posti, rispetto
al modello storico il cuscino diventa
unico e ancora più accogliente.
Gli elementi privi di bracciolo
e schienale permettono inoltre
di inserire complementi come i tavolini
e la lampada Fidelio, che arricchiscono

present, revisited here in a lighter form
in the quest for an informal elegance
achieved by subtraction: the historic
capitonné remains on the backrest while
the base of the sofa disappears;
the metal feet are almost invisible to
further emphasise the beauty of the
seat; compared with the classic two-
seater sofa, there is just one large
cushion which is even more comfortable.
The elements without armrests and
backrest also make it possible to add
accessories like the Fidelio side tables
and lamp, enhancing the functionality of
the various confi gurations. Armrests can
be attached at both ends or just on the
left or right.
