nel 2009, Jean-Marie Massaud crea un
altro piccolo capolavoro.
La poltroncina da tavolo è l’ultima nata
della linea Archibald, che dieci anni
fa si presentava come rivisitazione
attualizzata della classica poltrona
a pozzetto inglese.
Nata da un’attenta revisione di
proporzioni, pesi e volumi, la nuova
dining chair Archibald mantiene tutto
il comfort della collezione, con un’allure
più svelta e disinvolta che la rende
particolarmente eclettica, ideale in
ambienti contemporanei o, a contrasto,
in contesti più classici. La scocca
e i braccioli della poltroncina Archibald
sono in poliuretano rigido ottenuto
da stampo, mentre l’imbottitura interna
è in poliuretano morbido stampato
e ovatta poliestere. Il telaio della seduta
è in multistrato di betulla, sempre
con imbottitura in poliuretano espanso
e ovatta. Il molleggio è ottenuto con
molle elastiche.
Inspired by his iconic Archibald chair,
Wallpaper*Award in the “Best Domestic
Design” section in 2009, Jean-Marie
Massaud creates another little
masterpiece. The dining chair is the
most recent addition to the Archibald
collection, which ten years ago arrived
on the scene as a contemporary take
on the classic English tub chair.
The result of an attentive review of
proportions, weights and volumes, the
new Archibald dining chair boasts all
the comfort of the rest of the collection
but has a sleeker, more casual allure
that makes it particularly eclectic and
perfect for both contemporary spaces
and, conversely, more classic interiors.
The shell and armrests of the Archibald
dining chair are made from moulded rigid
polyurethane while the internal padding
consists of soft moulded polyurethane
and polyester wadding. The frame,
also padded in polyurethane foam and
wadding, is made from birch plywood.

2009, Jean-Marie Massaud crée un
autre petit chef-d’œuvre. Le fauteuil
de table est le dernier né de la
ligne Archibald qui, il y a dix ans, se
présentait comme une réinterprétation
actualisée du fauteuil à assise ronde
anglais classique.
La nouvelle chaise de salle à manger
Archibald, fruit d’une étude attentive
des proportions, des poids et des
volumes, conserve tout le confort
de cette collection, avec une allure
plus simple et désinvolte qui la rend
particulièrement éclectique, idéale
dans des pièces contemporaines ou,
au contraire, dans des contextes
plus classiques. La coque et les
accoudoirs du fauteuil Archibald sont
en polyuréthane rigide moulé, tandis
que le rembourrage intérieur est en
polyuréthane souple moulé et ouate
de polyester. Le cadre de l’assise est
en multiplis de bouleau, toujours avec
rembourrage en mousse de polyuréthane
et ouate. La suspension est obtenue
avec des ressorts élastiques.

ist der Neuzugang zur Linie
Archibald, die sich vor zehn Jahren
als aktualisierte Überarbeitung des
klassischen englischen Cockpit-Sessels
präsentierte.
Der neue Esszimmersessel Archibald
entsteht aus einer sorgfältigen
Überarbeitung von Proportionen,
Gewichten und Volumen, er behält jedoch
den ganzen Komfort der Kollektion bei.
Mit einer schlankeren, ungezwungeneren
Attitüde, die ihn besonders eklektisch
macht. Ideal in modernen Räumen oder
als Kontrastpunkt in einem klassischen
Ambiente. Schale und Armlehnen
des Sessels Archibald sind aus
geformtem Hartpolyurethan, die innere
Polsterung ist aus gegossenem weichem
Polyurethan und Polyesterwatte.
Der Rahmen der Sitzfl äche ist aus
Multischicht-Birkenholz, ebenfalls mit
Polsterung aus Polyurethanschaum
und Watte. Die Federung erfolgt durch
elastische Federn.
