Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet
Poltrona Frau x Leica
The Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet is
an elegant furniture piece for living
spaces, serving as both a support and
storage unit for televisions and stereo
systems.
In the home cinema version, the
cabinet features two drawers set
to the right and left of the central
compartment. This central space
includes a manually extendable
drawer, accessed through a discreet
groove beneath the front panel. The
shelf is designed to accommodate the
Leica Cine 1 smart laser TV, which,
when extended, positions itself at
the correct projection distance.
The screen is a motorized panel
completely concealed within the
cabinet’s top. When the Leica Cine
1 is powered on, the screen extends
and then retracts automatically
when the projector is turned off,
restoring the cabinet to its original
appearance. The Leica Cine 1 delivers
an extraordinary cinematic experience
thanks to its ultra-short-throw lens
(2.54 cm / 1 inch), enabling compact
and integration in living spaces. With
4K image resolution on 80, 100, or
120-inch screens and Dolby Atmos®
audio, it surpasses the standards of the
latest-generation
televisions.
The triple RGB laser technology
projection system guarantees over
25,000 hours of use with reduced
energy consumption. Leica Cine 1
also includes all the features of an
advanced smart TV: an intuitive
interface, voice control, triple tuner,
Apple AirPlay, and direct access to
major streaming platforms.
The structural framework of the
Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet is crafted
from birch plywood, solid ash, and
MDF panels. The top is made of
birch plywood with solid ash edging.
The entire unit is finished in Moka-
stained ash. The top features a
concealed panel that hides the 100”
vertically-rising projection screen.
The drawer fronts in birch plywood
with Moka-stained ash veneer, are
upholstered in Pelle Frau® Saddle
Extra or Re- Saddle leather, which
also extends to the cabinet’s side
panels. Stitching can be selected in
tone-on-tone or contrasting colors.
Additionally, the cabinet is equipped
with a cable channel for electronic
device connectivity, accessible via a
removable rear panel. The cabinet’s
back is available in either wood or
leather upholstery.
The base structure consists of
two blade-shaped solid ash wood,
connected by two rear-set beams
in black-varnished steel. These
centrally positioned feet beneath the
side drawers enhance the sense of
openness and lightness in the design.
The projector is exclusively available
in Europe, the United Kingdom, the
United Arab Emirates, Qatar, China,
the United States, Canada, Australia,
New Zealand, and Singapore.
The Fidelio Multimedia Cabinet with
integrated screen is available through
Poltrona Frau, while the Smart Laser
TV is sold separately through Leica.
