Opera House
Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors has furnished
the main auditorium of the Finnish National
Opera House in Helsinki with 1350 seats. Every
year the opera house stages around 20 different
operas in 140 performances, and welcomes
around 250,000 visitors. The Finnish National
Opera House project is the work of architects
HKP and designer Neil Morton of Theatre Plan.
For its design, they chose to honour the history
of the theatre by leaving the atmosphere of the
original space intact.
