particular in the sector I love most, Interior Design. My objec-
tive is to spread the knowledge and beauty of design to my
readers. I believe that Poltrona Frau is still one the most impor-
tant brands of Italian furniture and a widespread representative
of Italian lifestyle throughout the world. Even after more than

most fashionable luxury furniture in the world, where style and
elegance are the result of human wisdom, tailor-made manu-
facturing processes, traditional craftsmanship passed down
from generation to generation and technological innovation.
I am very honored to be here at Poltrona Frau’s 110th
anniversary, and to be writing the preface of its publication
celebrating this special occasion. Its century-old age has
made Poltrona Frau even stronger. In the more recent years,
the Brand has cooperated with many internationally renowned
designers and architects, extending their product line pro-

partnership with Ducati for the special edition of their Scram-
bler motorbike, while the crossover with the artistic world
has never stopped. Like for the recent collaboration with the
contemporary Argentinian artist, Felipe Pantone, for a special
edition of the Archibald armchair, proving to have embraced
the vitality of the new digital era although maintaining the
Brand’s original style and class.
My blessing is that 110 years from today, may Poltrona

ness success, it has also been acknowledged for its value,
style and prestige. 110 years may be a short or a very long
time and a book can only concisely record some events, but
it truly takes generations of creativity, wisdom and expertise
to achieve the brilliance and reputation that Poltrona Frau has
today, throughout the world.

customers and of the market. The company from Tolentino is
called all over the world for the most important venues such as
the performance hall of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the
Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the European Parliament,
and the British Museum just to mention very few of them. Also,
many prestigious brands like Bang&Olufsen, Bulgari, Cartier,
Hermes and Prada have their showrooms furnished by Poltrona
Frau, or brands such as Ferrari, Maserati, Ferretti and Pershing
ask Poltrona Frau to cooperate in the design of their products
for the creation of exclusive, custom-made interiors.
