100+10 Years of True Evolution
A modular system that is open to mul-
tiple confi gurations, Let it Be creates a new
way of experiencing the spaces at home.
The name itself, taken from a popular song
by the Beatles, aims to evoke the idea of
freedom from any formalism and convention.
The system takes its inspiration from an
even more distant era, that of the Roman tri-
cliniums represented in frescoes, which
showed a relaxed and idle lifestyle. Similarly,
Let it Be takes up and reinterprets some
experiments done by Poltrona Frau start-
ing in the 1990s, in which simple and light
geometries welcome a more international
style, and airy metal frames contrast with the
softness and welcoming nature of the seat.
Let it Be highlights Poltrona Frau’s
manufacturing excellence with a contempo-
rary aesthetic, such as the base upholstered
with saddle-leather bands and the recessed
support feet which make the seats appear to
be fl oating in space. The visible stitching of the
leather and saddle-leather evoke the work-
manship of noble saddlery and harnesses.
The sofa system is an island of well-being,
equipped with everything you need. It can
be completed as desired, with shelves and
containers upholstered in saddle-leather that
expand its functions.
The purity of the design, blends with the
refi ned details and Poltrona Frau’s intelligence
of hands evolves into a new concreteness,
capable of responding to the changing needs
of daily life, without compromising the
sobriety and elegance that the company has
always expressed.
