of exceptional quality; elegance that translates
into the right approach; and achieving a ‘generous

Jean-Marie Massaud began his profes-
sional career between Asia and France and
opened his studio in Paris in 1994. Since
then, he has dedicated himself to industrial
design and furniture design, establishing
lasting relationships with renowned inter-
national companies. His collaboration with
Marc Berthier and his work in the fi eld of
urban planning have led him towards a fusion
of design and architecture. His contextual
approach focuses on a search for simplicity,
in which the individual remains at the
centre of attention. His work is supported by
research on the senses, magic and vital
emotions. His products have been awarded
numerous prizes and many are now featu-
red in the permanent design collections of
some of the world’s major museums.
