The system is based on a 868 MHz wireless platform and includes luminaires that are fitted with a highly intelligent device for complete management of light, a
complete sensory range to detect the person and lighting levels, and dedicated control stations.
SMART allows to create systems that dynamically interact with the surrounding environment by modulating the flow level of luminaires based on natural light
variations or on the specific need by detecting staff in the work place. The entire system is wireless controlled and needs no additional control line.
System flexibility is highest with a dedicated management software that allows to programme the luminaires as required at any time, even after installation.

Luminaire provided with dual-tap ballasts and switch device controlled from
additional command line (pilot command).
By intervening on the device, the pilot command switches the power supply
of the lamp from 100% to the reduced power value. In case of a power failure,
when the installation is set at reduced power, the switch device always
guarantees the re-switch of the lamp at 100% until stabilization is achieved, in
order not to damage the lamp, and then goes back to the reduced power.
POWER REDUCTION WITH PILOT COMMAND

Luminaires are also available with automatic power reduction and with high-
output electronic ballast already programmed to reduce the luminous flux by
50%. The power supply recognises the virtual night mid-point (e.g. midpoint
of the switch-on time) and reduces the flux for a total of 8 hours, of which 2
hours before and 6 hours after.
