by Walter de Silva for PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING, wraps
light with its enveloping volumes. A technical revolution
about the hot side of light. A durable metal soul emphasises
a futuristic taste that interprets the needs of the digital
age. A thin outer shell, slender, seemingly delicate, hides
within it the most vibrant reflections of light. Solid Waves:
Solidity in term of durability and statics as a metal balanced
with dynamism given by the transient of waves are the
two concepts behind this new series. Light is energy, is a
wave, is evanescent. Metal is static, is durable, is forever.
Design something evanescent with a metal shape means
represents something with a solid material means to catch
the moment, to freeze the moment. Compact, sculptural
and attractive: this new series magnifies the beauty of the
material reflections.
