Designing a chairs is a complex operation that involves several players: from the designer to the company, to all the people who, with their artisan and industrial skills, contribute to make possible its creation. It is the object itself that becomes one of the main characters insidea "public space". A chair is a facilitator of social interaction. Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo have understood this idea since their first project for Pedrali. And keep representing a strong point even today, with the creation of the new products showcased at the 57th Salone del Mobile: Nym Soft, Nym barstool and Osaka Lounge.
1. Nym Soft (NYM 2832) recalls the outlines of the omonymous wooden chairs collection, subtly accentuating and enhancing its comfort. Chair with steel frame padded with polyurethane foam of different densities and solid ash wood legs.
2. Nym barstool (NYM 2848) adopts the archetypal structure of the English Windsor chair, reinterpreting and streamlining it to reflect industrial manufacturing systems. The arched backrest in elliptical-section bentwood flows seamlessly into the shaped solid wooden seat to form an armrest. Trestle-style in solid ash wood with swivelling mechanism and steel circular footrest. Seat height 650 mm.
3. Osaka Lounge (OSAKA metal 5729) confirms the functionality of the collection with a result of great ergonomic design and graphic sign. The generous dimensions of Osaka Lounge accentuate its versatile and relaxed nature. Osaka Lounge features a Ø20mm tubular steel frame, ash armrests and a padded shell, upholstered in fabric, leather and simil leather. It offers several choice of finishes, to meet every requirement of customization.
