La composizione Joy nasce dal tema di dare corpo
alla luce. La lampada è composta da un anello in
ottone, e sfere in vetro soffiato satinato bianco
opaco (sfera grande) e rosso amaranto (sfera piccola)
magicamente sospese all’interno della struttura
metallica sottile. Un gioco di masse e di traiettorie
circolari genera un disegno bilanciato di dinamiche
gravitazionali.
La luce emanata dalle sfere si diffonde sullo spazio
circostante e irraggia il telaio. I riflessi dell’ottone
contribuiscono a rendere l’atmosfera ancora più
sofisticata e onirica.
Joy composition was born of the idea of giving form
to light. The lamp is composed of a brass ring and
spheres in hand-blown white satin glass (big sphere)
and red see-through, (small spehere) magically
suspended within a thin metal structure. The play
of circular masses and trajectories generates a
balanced design of gravitational dynamics.
The light from the sphere is diffused into the
surrounding space, illuminating the frame. The
reflections of the brass render the luminous field
visible by its aura.
