Per estensione, chiamiamo atlante una raccolta
di immagini organizzata per introdurre alla
conoscenza di fenomeni, oggetti, esseri viventi
e molto altro.
Questo catalogo è pensato come una sorta
di atlante. Una raccolta di immagini che illustrano
spazi abitativi: stanze, ovvero microcosmi
accoglienti e, di volta in volta, differenti.
Dunque, una collezione di interni, più che una
collezione per interni.
When you leaf through an atlas, your gaze travels
around the world, following a story told by maps.
By extension, we also use the term atlas
to describe any collection of pictures arranged
in such a way as to familiarize us with a given
set of phenomena, or objects, or living creatures –
and the list could go on.
This catalogue is conceived as a kind of atlas.
An assembly of pictures that illustrate living
spaces: rooms, which are welcoming, comfortable
microcosms, that vary and differ from one instance
to the next. This atlas, then, is a collection of inte-
riors, much more than it is a collection for interiors.
