Tela è un nuovo tessuto in rame; ideato
grazie alla sinergia tra aziende che condi-
vidono gli stessi pensieri per superare il
convenzionale, segna il primo passo di una
ricerca destinata a svilupparsi nel tempo.
L’interesse per il tessile è da sempre parte
integrante della storia di Paola Lenti che,
realizzando Tela, ha reso il metallo flessibile
e malleabile, trasformandolo in un rivesti-
mento adatto a boiserie e strutture archi-
tettoniche.
Tecnica ed esperienza di De Castelli hanno
donato alle molteplici strutture tessili co-
lori cangianti, ottenuti attraverso una serie
di lavorazioni manuali che, stratificandosi
una sull’altra, creano effetti cromatici di-
versi: dalle sfumature di verde che incro-
ciano il bruno, alle iridescenze che fluttua-
no fra il blu, l’arancio e l’oro, alle tonalità
intense e naturali del viola e del rosso.
I colori ricordano quelli dei metalli antichi
giunti fino a noi con i segni del tempo, di-
ventati oggi preziosa eredità.

Tela is a new copper fabric; originating from
the synergies of companies that share the
same thoughts in going beyond the con-
ventional, it marks the first step of research
intended to evolve over time.
The interest in textiles has always been part
of the history of Paola Lenti that, in Tela,
has made the metal flexible and malleable,
converting it into an upholstery ideal for
boiserie and architectural structures.
The technique and experience of De Castelli
enhance the diverse textile structures with
shimmering colours. Several hand working
processes, stratifying on each other, create
different chromatic effects: from green sha-
des intertwining with brown to iridescent
hues fluctuating between blue, orange and
gold or into the vivid and natural purple and
red. The colours are reminiscent of antique
metals, which have survived to this day
carrying the signs of time and have become
precious legacies.
