È Paola Lenti che negli anni Novanta per prima intuisce
la forza espressiva e la grande versatilità del feltro, un
materiale che allora era considerato solo un prodotto
tecnico. Il feltro proposto dall’azienda è un feltro
tessuto, esclusivo, privo di effetto pilling. Prodotto quasi
completamente a mano, nasce dalla selezione delle lane
migliori, è compatto e confortevole. I colori in collezione
sono più di 100, in tinta unita o mélange. Segno distintivo
dei tappeti in feltro sono le cuciture, che da una parte
rispondono all’esigenza di ottenere grandi dimensioni
assemblando più moduli, dall’altra rappresentano un
elemento caratteristico che rende unico ogni esemplare.
Paola Lenti was the first, in the mid-Nineties, to recognize
the expressive power and great versatility of felt, which
was then considered just a technical product.
The felt proposed by the company is an exclusive woven
felt, resistant to pilling. It is compact and comfortable,
and it is almost entirely handmade with a careful
selection of the best wools. There are over 100 solid
and mélange colours in the collection. Stitching is the
distinctive feature of felt rugs. It not only responds
to the need to produce large-sized rugs by assembling
several modules but also represents a characteristic
element that makes each piece unique.
