Reuse in order not to waste. Re-generate. Building
a new narrative with a material that still has potential
to express. A live matter. Paola Lenti and brothers
Fernando and Humberto Campana, the Brazilian
designers renowned for their out-of-the-ordinary
creations and pioneers of the experimentation with
materials, have created a unique collection with
remnants, ropes and waste fabrics recovered from
the production chain of the Meda company,
transforming them into spectacular furnishings.
Metamorfosi is inspired by the innumerable changes
of the natural world and the organisms that inhabit it:
a special edition – five seats and a tapestry with
organic and sinuous shapes – halfway between design
and the work of art.
It’s a metamorphosis that goes beyond the seduction
of the material and involves also the ethical level,
following the thread of a thought that Paola Lenti has
nurtured over the years: to foster a more conscious use
of raw materials and an inclusive, responsible behavior.
