Shield è un coprivaso di grandi dimensioni per piante da giardino, disponibile in forme e misure
diverse. Il coprivaso permette di non togliere le piante dal loro contenitore originale, che una
volta rivestito assume anche una funzione estetica.
Shield può essere utilizzato dove non è disponibile un terreno adeguato per mettere a dimora
le piante.
La struttura è realizzata in acciaio inox ed è sottoposta a una speciale verniciatura che la rende
adatta all’uso in condizioni ambientali difficili.
Le due metà in cui è diviso Shield si agganciano attorno al vaso da rivestire con un sistema in
acciaio inox che rende semplici le operazioni di montaggio e smontaggio.
Una volta assemblato il coprivaso, è necessario riempire la parte superiore con materiali
permeabili, come terra, sabbia, corteccia o sassi, per completare l’estetica della composizione
e creare un piccolo ambiente coerente con la pianta utilizzata.
Bench (pagina 180) è una fioriera rettangolare o quadrata. È formata da due parti: una tec-
nica e funzionale interna, destinata a contenere il terriccio, e una estetica di finitura esterna.
La struttura, simile per materiale e finiture a quella di Shield, è dotata di puntali regolabili in
materiale plastico.
Le fioriere Bench hanno dimensioni utili per essere composte con le sedute per esterno della
stessa serie (pagina 116 Aqua Collection technical book). Possono essere utilizzate anche
indipendentemente per creare aiuole decorative o piccoli orti in aree come balconi e terrazzi
dove spesso per le piante non esiste uno spazio adeguato.
Shield is a large planter cover for garden plants, available in different forms and dimensions.
The cover allows for keeping the plants in their original container, that, once covered, also
performs an aesthetic function.
Shield can be used where an appropriate ground for planting is not available.
The structure is made of steel and is protected with a special varnishing that makes it suited to
resist also in difficult environments.
Shield is divided into two halves that can be hooked around the planter to be covered by me-
ans of a stainless steel system that makes assembly and disassembly very easy.
Once the cover is assembled, it is necessary to fill the upper part with permeable materials,
such as ground, sand, bark or stones, in order to complete the aesthetics of the composition
and create a little space coherent with the used plant.
Bench (page 180) is a rectangular or square planter. It is composed of two parts: an internal
one, technical and functional, aimed to contain the soil and an external, esthetically finishing
one. The structure, similar to the Shield’s one as far as materials and finishes are concerned, is
provided with adjustable plastic spacers.
The Bench planters are available in such dimensions that make it possible to combine them
with the outdoor seating of the same series (page 116 Aqua Collection Technical Book). They
can be used also alone to create beds planted with grass or even vegetables, in such areas
like balconies and terraces where, very often, an appropriate space for plants is unavailable.
