The first hotel flottant in Paris, France / 2016
Opinion Ciatti together with Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman conceived the
interiors of common areas and two suites of this boutique hotel moored at the foot
of the Austerlitz station in the 13th° arrondissement.
Company profile
A precious copper leaf clads the reception’s tailor-made furnishings: a square motif characterises both the dividing wall at the rear and the desk at
the front, which have been built around an old and rather symbolic tree trunk, which is embedded into it like a precious gem.
A very special copper edition of the Waves lamp completes the picture.
In the lounge, copper leaf Mammamia chairs and ILtavolo tables have been arranged alongside new versions of well-known family products,
supplied in a variety of different shapes and sizes or wearing new fabrics or materials. Black walnut is the new top for ILtavolo Caffé and chocolate
leather covers Chummy stools and the Guelfo collection seatings, represented here not only by sofas and wingbacks but also by a special stylish
small armchair. Monochromatic decorations provide a distinctive touch to both Designers Suites. From the walls to the ceiling, from the room’s
furniture to the bathtub and sinks, the chosen tones define the identity of these floating apartments.
