At times, a gesture surpasses form. Eliminating the switch is one of these elementary but efficient, unusual and inventive gestures: the Switch lamp is switched on and off by turning the metal shade. It formally proposes "a non-form", a reinterpretation of the table lamp where the diffuser is built into the metal band and enhanced by the shiny black and white and in particular, ancient gold finishes. Switch recalls a historical but forgotten piece from the Oluce collection, the 282 lamp designed by Paolo Caliari in the 1960s.
