L’abitazione è situata all’interno di un sito patrimonio
Unesco, si tratta di una residenza privata urbana,
parte di un fronte urbano continuo nel cuore della città
medievale di Ratisbona, in Baviera.
Il nuovo edificio è una casa privata dal forte carattere
contemporaneo con spazi interni aperti e luminosi,
materiali di alta qualità, avanzati criteri costruttivi
e standard energetici. Il progetto risponde sia
alle esigenze della città che a quelle dei clienti,
mantenendo una continuità nei principali materiali
utilizzati e praticando uno stile di vita contemporaneo.
Tutto ciò ha condotto a facciate neutre e nude ma con
finestre più ampie possibili.
Internamente si è pensato ad un unico “spazio di
vita pubblica”, con zona soggiorno-pranzo al piano
inferiore e zona fitness con piscina al piano superiore.
L’edificio garantisce un’elevata resistenza termica,
con serramenti ad alte prestazioni e tende da
sole automatizzate. I sistemi di illuminazione e
riscaldamento in tutta la casa sono gestiti attraverso
touch screen posizionati ad ogni piano.
All’esterno ringhiere di cristallo ultra sottili senza
corrimano, finestre con telai invisibili nascosti,
vetri a specchio che riflettono gli edifici sulla
strada aggiungono un effetto di astrazione e
dematerializzazione senza alterare la continuità e il
carattere della città, ma allo stesso tempo rivelando
la contemporaneità e l’unicità dell’abitazione richiesta
dai clienti. Il progetto è stato finalista del “World
Architectural Festival” a Singapore nel 2012.
The house is located within a UNESCO heritage site,
it is a private urban residence, part of a continuous
urban front in the heart of the medieval town of
Regensburg, in Bavaria.
The new building is a private house with a strong
contemporary character with open and bright interior
spaces, high quality materials, advanced construction
criteria and energy standards. The project meets the
needs of both the city and those of the customers,
maintaining a continuity in the main materials used and
applying a contemporary lifestyle. All this led to neutral
and bare facades but with the widest possible windows.
Internally, a single “public living space” was the focus,
with a living-dining area on the lower level and a fitness
area with a swimming pool on the upper level.
The building guarantees high thermal resistance, with
high performance windows and automated awnings.
Lighting and heating systems throughout the house are
managed via touch screens located on each floor.
Outside, ultra-thin crystal railings without handrails,
windows with hidden invisible frames, mirrored
windows reflecting the buildings on the street add an
effect of abstraction and dematerialization without
altering the continuity and character of the city, but
at the same time revealing the contemporaneity and
the uniqueness of the house as requested by the
customers. The project was a finalist of the “World
Architectural Festival” in Singapore in 2012.
