E’ il paesaggio, in assoluto, l’elemento
fondante che ha “formato” l’immagine di
questa casa. Così la casa del progetto
assume la forma di una collinetta arrotondata,
ampiamente vetrata, con una pianta sinuosa,
quasi femminile. Un volume color dell’aere,
una volumetria plastica, smussata, una
“scultura sotto la luce”. Calibrati fori e ampie
vetrate fendono la plasticità dell’involucro.
Lo studio attento delle forme e della
simbologia di progetto sottende un forte
legame dell’involucro con l’ambiente
circostante e questo non può che indurre
ad orientarsi verso la scelta di materiali da
costruzione e tecnologie non solo sostenibili,
ma che traggono dalla natura la loro origine
e la loro energia. Il progetto prevede un’ottica
di riguardo anche per le coperture che
non sono solo “particolari” ma soprattutto
funzionali ed intelligenti. La copertura piana
rivolta a nord, essendo una terrazza che
guarda al giardino sottostante vuole essere
parte di esso integrandosi nell’intorno
come un suo prolungamento. La seconda
copertura degna di nota, è questa conchiglia
che avvolge e chiude dolcemente la casa,
una struttura in mosaico che esternamente
ingloberà il cielo e l’intorno per fondersi ad
esso ma, internamente, verrà realizzata con
travi e assiti di legno per donare tepore agli
abitanti e, con le sue curve, emozionarli.
The natural landscape was, without doubt,
the key element that forged the image of this
dwelling, shaped like a small rounded hill
and opened by large windows. The layout is
curved, almost feminine. With its aerial colors,
and plastic, smooth volumes, this dwelling
is a real “sculpture in the light”; several
calibrated openings and wide windows cut
into the plasticity of the shell. A careful study
of the project symbolism reveals a strong
relationship between the outer shell and
the surrounding environment, that calls for
sustainable and environment-friendly material
and construction technologies. Particular care
was used for the roofing design, which was
developed following originality, functionality
and effectiveness criteria. On the North
side a terrace serves as a flat roof, and as
a continuation of the garden below, which
complement the rest of the property.
A second shell-shaped roofing gently wraps
and closes the rest of the house.
The mosaic structure utilized for the external
side blends with the sky, while on the inside,
wooden beams and planks create a
warm and intimate environment.
