Nika Zupanc’s design philosophy is built on the search for an icon; a
recognisable form, colour or material reinterpreted into a physical
product. The Petalii collection is an interpretation of a gentle flower,
presented in a minimalistic and functional shape with an emotional
design language in the form of a peaceful flower bloom. The simple form
of the collection offers the possibility to create a specific feeling or
environment and can be used in different spaces, from private homes
to larger interiorprojects. “Making an interior is like writing a novel.
You put different sentences together in order to create a beautiful
story. The Petalii lamp is in this case one sentence in the story of the
space where it is placed.’’ – Nika Zupanc. Petalii means bloom and
speaks to the form and the essence of the shape of the collection.
