The Hippo family is defined by soft, playful shapes that draw inspiration from the
rounded forms of 70s furniture. The distinctive wooden profile acts as an almost
architectural element that starkly contrasts with the rounded, soft back and seat.
The series earned its moniker during the design process when the back view
revealed similarities to a hippopotamus, giving birth to the name 'Hippo.'
