Il movimento culturale del Neoclassicismo nasce e si sviluppa in Europa e in America tra il XVIII ed XX sec.

I campi espressivi più utilizzati dagli artisti neoclassici sono la scultura e l’architettura, questi sono ispirati
da una forte volontà di rottura con la cultura tradizionale, animati dalla grande fedeltà alla natura e alla
ragione. Questi diventano i valori universali che guideranno quest’arte di idee.
In architettura il Neoclassicismo riprende alcuni elementi dell’architettura classica greco romana,
ripristinando un equilibrio, crea palazzi che traspirano serietà e imponenza, riprendendo sostanzialmente
forme semplici come il cubo o il triangolo.
The Emotions
The cultural movement of the Neoclassicismo is born and it is developed in Europe and United Stases of
America between the eighteenth and twentieth century for the interest towards the ancient art.
The more used expressive ﬁ elds by the neo-classical artists are the sculpture and the architecture, these are
inspired from a strong desire to break with the traditional culture, inspired from the great ﬁ delity to the
nature and to the reason. These become the universal values that will guide this art of ideas.
In architecture the Neoclassicismo resumes some elements of classical architecture Greek-Roman, restoring
an equilibrium, creates buildings that send seriousness and grandeur, taking substantially simple forms like
the cube or the triangle.
