For the Liseberg project in Gothenburg, Sweden, the
lighting installation exudes strong Izakaya vibes, creating
an inviting and friendly atmosphere. This unique cluster
of lights draws heavily from traditional East Asian design,
featuring a variety of stylistic elements that contribute to a
rich and eclectic ambience.
Central to the design are the paper parasols, each hand-
painted with images of birds, foliage, and fish, evoking the
serene beauty of Asian art. These parasols create a tranquil
environment reminiscent of traditional Asian outdoor
settings, adding a touch of cultural authenticity.
This harmonious blend of elements results in a captivating
and atmospheric lighting display, perfectly suited for the
vibrant and lively setting of Liseberg, inviting guests to
experience the warmth and friendliness of an Izakaya-
inspired environment.
