CAFE EN SEINE

In this lighting project for Café en Seine in Dublin, the
custom lighting fixtures draw inspiration from Art Deco
design, creating a cohesive and visually striking ambience.
A prominent feature is the large, custom-made fixture that
spans the length of the bench seat, suspended by catenary
wire, giving the illusion of floating. This fixture includes the
café’s name along its edge and integrates chandeliers with
opal glass globes on polished brass arms in various angles,
blending straight lines, curves, and angles to produce a
captivating and gentle ambient light.
Additionally, the space is adorned with two different
designs of chandelier, both art-deco inspired. These
fixtures collectively contribute to a well-thought-out
lighting aesthetic that enhances the café’s luxurious and
sophisticated décor.
