CAFE GEORGETTE
Paris, France
Café Georgette features a custom ceiling light comprising
large rounded rectangles of neon, suspended by matte
black arms. The central rectangle is perpendicular to the
others, creating a dynamic visual effect. The aim was to
enhance the room’s aesthetic, which includes tall mirrors
and arched wall sections, accentuating the design and
color palette without overwhelming it.
The ambient lighting provided by this installation creates a
cohesive and inviting atmosphere, highlighting the café’s
vibrant décor and unique charm.
The combination of horizontal rectangles at different
heights, and a central rectangle with more squared corners,
creates a layered and structured look. This installation
enhances the room’s aesthetic without overshadowing
it, providing a soft, ambient glow that complements the
vibrant colors and design elements of Café Georgette.
